Is it Mr Smith or Mr. Smith?
Here’s one you get from time to time. Do you type ‘Mr’ or ‘Mr.’?
Answer: it depends if you’re writing British English or American. In the UK we drop the full stop at the end. In the US it’s usually there.
Same goes for Mrs/Mrs., Ms/Ms., and Dr/Dr.
