It was time for some major housekeeping around here. The site has now moved back from Squarespace to WordPress.com and as part of the move I’ve been busily weeding out many of the older and now irrelevant posts from the blog.
Quite a few of those about writing technology were out-of-date to be frank. Some of them were simply irrelevant now. And others… well I didn’t think they were worth keeping. There’s still a bit of tidying up work to be done so you may find images missing in places (this should soon be corrected).
A few items, such as software reviews, have been removed too, again because the world has usually moved on. If there’s something you wanted here that’s now disappeared there is a brief window in which you can recover it. Go to the Squarespace blo now at http://dhewson2.squarespace.com/blog/ and hunt for it there. This includes quite a few of my early Scrivener articles, many of which would require updating to be made relevant (and frankly I don’t have the time for that).
A complete archive of stuff going back to 2008 will be available for a short while. After that it’s gone…
Hope you enjoy the new site. Much of the content is based on the old one but I’ve added an introduction to the Costa series to help people understand the chronology and how it came about.
